Interview with Sam Gurry for Quickdraw Animation Society

Quickdraw Animation Society is a member driven not-for-profit based out of Calgary, Canada, incorporated since 1984. Their aim is to boost animators in their communities and abroad by providing countless animation-specific resources, screenings and literature. It sounds a lot like what we aspire to do some day!

We were interviewed by Sam Gurry on behalf of Quickdraw about our collective practice. Their essay was later published in a collaborative (free, public) publication called On LGBTQ2S+ Animation. According to Quickdraw, this compilation of essays “[…] is a conversation starter, a place where artists, animators and critical writers can explore topics of queerness, identity and representation in animation from a variety of angles.”
